The event will be the second Backpack, Hoodies, and Sneakers event by NEX Metropolitan, founded by Robert Walsh. The event uses a common style of dress today, to bring law enforcement and teens together to discuss clothing comfort and law enforcement concerns through conversation. The first event was held in Arlington, TX January 8, 2022. Parents attended a separate class on firearm safety where a young man shared his story about a life-changing day while being unsafe with a weapon.
